I'm an art director/visual designer with 8 years of experience in the
digital design field. I have directed design teams and worked with a
wide range of clients in the auto, beauty, food & beverage,
entertainment and technology industries.
My skills range from art and creative direction, user experience
interaction and visual design, creating print graphics, branding and
product development.
I have been living in New York for almost 2 years freelancing as art
director and creative consultant. Prior to that I ran my own small
collective digital agency in Sydney Australia for 3 years. Earlier to
that I worked as creative in a couple of advertising agencies.
Since being in NYC I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to
work in major advertising and digital agencies including, LBI,
Wieden+Kennedy, AKQA, RGA, Laird + Partners, Sapient Nitro,
MRMWorldwide, Tribal DDB, Sony Music, Fluid and The Martin Agency.
I've been involved in creating pitches, campaigns, products, and brands
for clients globally such as Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, The Olympics,
Footlocker, Smirnoff, Citibank, Microsoft, Telstra (Major Australian
Telco), Motorola, Lancome, Reebok, and Sony Music.
On the flip-side since the beginning of my career I have always been
working on small projects, helping with creative for startups and small
businesses. Being involved with projects I feel passionate with out
client/brand restrictions about motivate and inspire me.
Recently I have been helping startups such as Freelancer.com and
Ycombinator groups such as Omnisio, Rap Genius and Imporia as Visual
Designer.
I am passionate about design, music and technology. I draw my
inspiration from many facets of popular culture. My fascination with the
cultural zeitgeist, combined with my love of traveling, has exposed me
to many new ideas and experiences. These have been the driving forces in
shaping my aesthetic as an innovative and versatile creative.
